Our Lady of Mercy Lay Carmelites

Community and Regional News — May 2019

  • Deceased Member. Virginia P. passed away about two weeks before Easter. She was a devout Third Order Carmelite for 18 years. It was at Holy Spirit that she was received into our community in 2001 and fully professed in 2003. In March 2016 she moved back east to be near her brother and, since there was no community near her, became an Isolate member. As with all members of our community who pass away, we will pray the Office of the Dead today for the repose of her soul. Please keep Virginia and all our deceased members in your prayers.
