Novena to Our Lady of Mount Carmel: July 7-15, 2017

Our Lady of Mount Carmel

This year our reflections for this beautiful feast will focus on the scapular (scapular: a sleeveless outer garment falling from the shoulders), which is a reflection in miniature of the habit worn by the friars and nuns as a sign of their vocation and devotion. Each night during the novena we will reflect on one or more of aspects of this popular sacramental as we honor Mary and seek her guidance along our Carmelite journey.
