Nada Te Turbe — A Virtual Choir of Carmelites

Nada te turbe Virtual ChoirA Virtual Choir for Our Times. In August 2014, this virtual choir was published to YouTube in celebration of St. Teresa of Jesus’ 500th birthday. Although Teresa wrote Nada te turbe over 500 years ago, the message is much needed in today’s world. “Let nothing make you afraid. ... God alone suffices.” Listen here
P.S. “Nada Te Turbe” is one of two official VMG virtual choirs and is made up of Carmelite Nuns and Seculars from around the world. It is accompanied by the Teresian Orchestra of St. James Cathedral in Seattle, Washington, USA. Music composed by Claire Sokol, OCD.

Holy Week Online

The Crucifixion by MontofaroSusan, the director of Our Lady of Mercy Lay Carmelite Community, offers suggestions for participating in Holy Week services online. Included are recommendations from Cindy Perazzo, Provincial Coordinator for our Province (Mass at the National Shrine and Museum of St. Thérèse and other Carmelite resources). Other suggestions include YouTube Masses and online Adoration. We may be sheltering-in-place, but we are not alone.

Divine Intimacy Calendar

Divine Intimacy CalendarDivine Intimacy by Fr. Gabriel of St. Mary Magdalen, O.C.D., is based on the Teresian method of prayer. I have found it a rich source of meditation and highly recommend it. If you are using Divine Intimacy for meditation and would like to follow the liturgical seasons, you may be interested in downloading the free 2020 calendar guide prepared by Chris Larmour PDF— a former seminarian, who created and continues to maintain the calendar as a labor of love.
