Our Lady of Mercy Lay Carmelites

Community and Regional News — December 2019

  • Merry Christmas! Today we will be enjoying a longer than usual break so our community can celebrate together the Birth of Jesus.
  • TWO February Meetings. We will have two community gatherings in February. The first will be our regular community meeting on Saturday, February 1. Sr. Libby Dahlstrom will be conducting her visitation at this meeting. This is a Saturday and we will gather in the Governo House Library and Dining Room from 1:00 to 5:00 pm. There will be no break for snacks. Please do not bring anything to the meeting for the community to share as a snack.
  • Lenten Gathering. The second meeting in February will be a Lenten Gathering of Lay Carmelites in San Francisco on Saturday, February 22, from 9:00am to 1:00pm. The theme for the day is Sharing the Journey. There is no charge for this meeting. Please fill out the REGISTRATION FORM and give it to Ann so she knows how many people will be attending.
  • No March Meeting. Because we will have two meetings in February, there will NOT be a meeting in March.
