  • Thank you! Thank you to all who attended the Silent Day of Recollection at the House of Prayer in October. Very pleased with the attendance from our community.
  • Thank you again! Thank you also to our presenters and those present at Novena to All Carmelite Saints. Contact Catherine if you want access to the presentations. There is so much to learn from our Carmelite Saints and how their lives relate to our present lives.
  • LCO Information Bulletins. Discussion about the recent Lay Carmelite Office (LCO) Bulletins that were emailed to everyone in our community. We’ve also published them in the “Question and Answer” series on our website.

  • Mass for Our Community’s Deceased. All are invited to attend the Holy Mass for our community’s deceased Carmelite brothers and sisters. Join us on November 22, 2023, at Holy Spirit Church for the 8:15am Mass. Please wear your ceremonial scapulars and sit together.

Ongoing Formation Homework

  • Mary the Perfect Contemplative: Part 1, Chapter 2, A Town of Judah: Crossing a Threshold, pages 42-44.
  • Study/Discussion questions: Study Guide, page 14, questions 18-21. You may also wish to answer the questions for Chapter 2, found in Appendix 1 of the book.

Lectio Divina

Lectio Divina for December 20 community meeting is the gospel reading for the Twentieth Sunday in Ordinary Time: John 1:6-8, 19-28.

Prayer Intentions

Please pray for all Carmelites, especially:
