Community and Regional News — July 2023

  • Thank you. Many thanks to our presenters during the Novena to Our Lady of Mount Carmel. Thanks also to Dianne for planning the topics and to Catherine for hosting our Zoom novena sessions.
  • Profession Anniversaries. Congratulations to Lory (21 years) and Teresa (23 years) on the anniversary of their final professions, which occurred on July 16th twenty-one and twenty-three years ago.
  • Novena Reflections. Several of the Novena reflections are now available on our website. Contact Catherine if you are interested in downloading them.
  • Regional Day of Recollection. Save the date! There will be a Regional Day of Recollection on Saturday, October 21, 2023, to be held once again at the House of Prayer in Napa. Details regarding the topic, retreat master, and registration will be forthcoming.
  • Community Outreach. Please reach out to our inactive or sick members who are unable to join us on a regular basis.

Ongoing Formation Homework

  • Mary the Perfect Contemplative: Chapter 1: Highly Favored Daughter, pages 30-36.
  • Study/Discussion questions: Study Guide, pages 4-5, questions 12-14. You may also wish to answer the questions for Chapter 1, found in Appendix 1 of the book.

Lectio Divina

Lectio Divina for August 20 community meeting is the gospel reading for the Twentieth Sunday in Ordinary Time: Matthew 15:21-28.

Prayer Intentions
