Our Lady of Mercy Lay Carmelites

Community and Regional News — October 2021

  • Regional Day of Recollection. Next month, on November 13, we will have a Day of Recollection in San Francisco. The theme is “Called to Carmel and Called to Holiness.” Please remember to bring $25 for registration and lunch, which will be collected when you register. Georgia will be making her final profession.
  • November Community Meeting. Due to the Day of Recollection on November 13, there will be no community meeting in November.
  • Community Elections. Our next community elections will be held in December. Lou C. is running unopposed for Director and four people are running for the three positions on the Council. They are Teresa P. and Georgia, who are both currently on the Council, and Dianne S. and Marilou R. Thank you to these four women who have volunteered to serve the community. Please keep them all in your prayers as you consider who to vote for.
