  • REGIONAL VISIT. Regional Coordinator and Regional Formation Director Visit. Today, we are honored by Christine Campbell and Patrick Bowles for their visitation of our community. Thank you.
  • CERTIFICATE OF RECOGNITION. At the Convocation in Washington DC last July, our community was awarded a Certificate of Recognition for celebrating the 30th anniversary of our foundation.
  • DAY OF RECOLLECTION. On August 16, we joined other communities in our region for a Day of Recollection. We want to bring home the message on “determination”. Thank you, Maru, for the good report.
  • COMMUNITY RECRUITMENT DAY. On August 17, we did not hold our community meeting, so we reserved that day to introduce our community to the parish; we set up 2 tables outside of the church and handed out information materials. It was a joyful day, we gathered 38 signatures!
  • CARMELITE GENERAL CHAPTER. Started on Sept 9, and will end on 26. Please continue to pray for God’s leading and direction.
  • NEW LECTIO DIVINA HANDBOOK. We decided to print a copy from the website for a first-hand look before ordering.
  • Novena to St. Teresa of Avila, October 6-14: Dianne, Nona and Maru have put together the topics for presentation. Please sign up today.
  • Feast of St. Teresa of Avila, October 15: We have a Mass reserved at 8:15am to celebrate the Feast of St. Teresa.
  • Day of Reflection, October 19: Our next speaker for a Day of Reflection is Fr. Antony Vazhappilly, Pastor of St. James the Apostle Catholic Church, Fremont. The topic is “Self-knowledge”.
  • Relics of St. Therese of Lisieux, October 20-30: The magnificent reliquary of St. Therese, containing some of her bones, is coming to the Bay Area on Oct. 20-30. Visit https://stthereseusa2025.com for the Schedule of Events.
  • February 14, 2026 Day of Recollection: Advance notice — the next Regional Day of Recollection will be held at St. Theresa of Avila Church in San Francisco. Please reserve this day.
